A Picture is a way of converting information from it's original format to a different format. Pictures can be used for database fields, built-in variables, user-defined variables, and text that you enter onto a report page. A Picture is defined/accessed for a report page object using the Property Box dialog box:

 

 

You can manually type in a Picture or use the Picture Wizard (the blue icon next to the light-colored blue entry field). You can change a Picture at any time - remember that a Picture only changes how data is displayed on a report page - it won't change/delete any database information. If you decide you don't like the Picture for a frame you can change it to something else, then use the print preview screen to see the final result.
